Terms of Use

Effective 12 September 2026. These terms explain Hush’s use and subscriptions. The app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

What Hush does

Hush helps you measure sound and organize recordings and reports. Built-in microphone readings are indicative. Results depend on your device, microphone, settings, environment, and any reference adjustment. Hush is not a certified sound-level instrument and does not establish hearing safety, a medical diagnosis, or legal compliance.

Planned subscriptions

Hush is currently in TestFlight, with purchases disabled. The planned US launch prices are $3.99 per week without a free trial, or $39.99 per year with a three-day free trial for eligible customers. Local prices and eligibility are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation. The yearly trial is not available to everyone; Apple determines eligibility. Both plans provide the same app access.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. The yearly trial converts to a paid yearly subscription unless canceled before it ends. Manage or cancel through your Apple account subscriptions. To avoid renewal charges, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple’s purchase sheet shows the applicable billing terms.

Canceling renewal generally leaves access until the current paid period ends; Apple may end trial access when a trial is canceled. Refund requests are handled by Apple. Removing Hush does not cancel your subscription. Restore purchases with the Apple account used to subscribe.

Your content

You retain your content and are responsible for obtaining any permissions needed when recording people or places. Keep backups of important records. The current TestFlight build does not require a purchase to access your saved recordings.
