Terms of Use

Last updated 13 September 2026. These terms apply to Hush: Decibel & Noise Meter (“Hush”), provided by Netkreatives bv. Hush is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies unless these terms say otherwise. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

What Hush does

Hush helps you measure sound and keep recordings, dossiers and reports. Built-in microphone readings are indicative. Results depend on your device, microphone, settings, environment, and any reference adjustment. Hush is not a certified sound level meter and does not guarantee hearing safety, a medical diagnosis, or legal or regulatory compliance. Use a suitable calibrated instrument where a certified measurement is required.

Free meter and Hush Pro

The live meter, including the analyser, is free and saves nothing. Hush Pro unlocks saving recordings with their history, photos, video, place and time, Live camera, dossiers, importing, and PDF and CSV reports. If Hush Pro ends, you can still open and export what you saved; saving new recordings needs an active subscription.

Subscriptions

• Hush Pro is an auto-renewable subscription with a weekly plan and a yearly plan. The weekly plan has no free trial. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible customers.
• Prices are shown in the app and by Apple in your local currency before you confirm. Hush tests different yearly prices, so the yearly price may differ between users. Apple’s purchase sheet shows the price you will be charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase or, with the free trial, at the end of the trial.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period or free trial. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase. Cancelling stops future renewals, and access generally continues until the end of the current paid period; if you cancel during a free trial, Apple may end trial access right away. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• To restore Hush Pro on a new or reinstalled device, use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Apple Account.

Your content

You keep ownership of your recordings, photos, videos and notes. You are responsible for how you record and share them, including obtaining any permission needed to record or film people or private places, and for following local laws. Keep exported copies of important records.

Liability

Hush is provided as described in Apple’s EULA. To the extent permitted by law, Netkreatives bv is not liable for decisions made on the basis of Hush readings or reports. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms when Hush changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
