Privacy Policy

Your recordings

Sound measurements, retained audio, photos, videos, recording names, notes, dates, and saved locations are stored on your device by default. Hush requests microphone, camera, and location access for the features you choose. Preview is temporary; recording saves measurement history, and retaining sound-only audio is a separate option.

Optional private iCloud sync transfers eligible finalized environmental records to your private iCloud account. Media sync needs a separate opt-in. Personal exposure and Health data are excluded from that synchronization. Health access is optional and controlled by Apple’s permission settings. Exports and backups leave the app only through the destinations you choose.

Purchases

Purchases are not enabled in the current TestFlight build. When available, Apple will process payments and purchase restoration. We do not receive your payment card details. Hush does not require a separate account.

Optional usage analytics

TelemetryDeck receives limited product-use events, such as onboarding completion, selected measurement mode, recording-save success, and purchase outcomes, alongside basic app/device context and a pseudonymous identifier. Analytics is enabled by default and can be turned off in Settings. Turning it off stops further optional analytics collection.

Usage analytics does not include sound-level readings, recordings, photos, videos, precise locations, dossier or recording names, notes, or other free text. We do not use advertising identifiers, sell your recordings, or track you across other companies’ apps for advertising.

This website and support

This website has no analytics scripts, advertising, or contact form. Cloudflare and our hosting infrastructure process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. If you email support, we receive the message, attachments, and contact information you send; please include only what is needed to help you.

Storage and your choices

You control microphone, camera, location, Health, and iCloud access in the app and Apple’s settings. You can delete recordings within Hush. App files are excluded from cloud backup, so export a backup before deleting the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription or automatically erase records you exported or synchronized elsewhere.

Local records remain until you delete them or remove the app. Optional analytics follows TelemetryDeck’s retention settings. Service providers may process data outside your country. Contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
